Seandon Mooy is a...

Standards following web developer, magical sysadmin, libertarian, and more or less human-shaped meat-bag living in San Francisco, California. This site is said meat-bag's personal blog and portfolio.

blah blah blah

I got into web development right around the time when Yahoo!'s GeoCities launched. My first big project was a Half-Life mapping (3D modeling) community, which grew to about 150 members. After that, I was part of the (now deceased) Shiver7 web design community, during which time I mastered (x)HTML/CSS, and began learning PHP (PHP3 at the time). PHP and Apache led me into the Linux world when I was about 16 - first with SuSe, then to Debian, finally to Gentoo. At the age of 17, I got a job at a local ISP and less than a year later was promoted to Systems Admin. I am currently a full time student living in San Francisco and work as a freelance web developer and networking consultant. My favoite tools include the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), JavaScript (with jQuery!), VIM and Firebug for Firefox. My workstation is a Gentoo Linux machine running KDE4, and my webserver is hosted with RackSpace.
See my resume for all the stuff I know how to do but wouldn't say is my favorite. cough Microsoft products cough

Erulabs is:

This site is doomed to become my personal blog. I will try my best to post some useful tutorials and maybe a bit of news from time to time, but thats sadly about it. For a time there was an excellent forum at erulabs.net - and I may consider reopening such a forum, although I seriously doubt it would be at erulabs.com (perhaps at mellswo's site!)
